FIRST STEP👣

First step……..do you know what’s that mean? I think everyone knows that but I want to describe in my own words. Everything starts with first step.

First step….what an easy word.

It seems easy when we say it but it become difficult when we want to take it. We are always afraid of taking first step to start journey. But once you get into it, it will surprise you to know that what you are capable of. In other words, everything seems first hard before it becomes easy.

If you fail to take the first step, you will never take the second and you shall remain where you are until you make a first move. We always try to find a easy way in our own comfort zone ,But from my little experience in life, there is no easy way.

You always need to start something with dedication and determination, you have to nurture it for it to grow.

We feel fear, whenever we want to start something new

out of our comfort zone.

It happens many times. Whenever we want to start something new ,So many thoughts starts roming in our mind. Sometimes we think that we will start when the right time will come. As far as I know there is no right time, no need to wait for right time to take a first step. Every time, each and every moment is right for taking the first step. Even that time when the first thought come into your mind is the best to take first step.

We feel fear of stepping out from the comfort zone, fear of being seen, fear of community, fear of facing people, fear of unknown, fear of what people will say and many more fears. Fear doesn’t make us grow in any way.

To overcome fear first of all We need to accept the presence of fear and then find ways to handle it and work with it, rather than deny it and look for excuses.

It’s okay to be afraid but this doesn’t mean to give up . Fear is a barrier in a way of growth, self improvement and progress. so you have to fight through it. Unless we overcome from our fear, we can’t realise the real power of our inner potential.

Remember “God help those who help themselves”.

  1. We have to be honest about what we want and take risks rather than lie to ourselves and make excuses to stay in our comfort zone.
    I completely agreed on your thoughts and loved to read this..Keep it up.

  2. So true. It took me almost an year to nurture my mind to get up at 5:30 for self fitness, to do any sort of exercise. Went for walk for 10 days & the initial pain asked to quit. It’s only now since 15 days I am regular with my morning Yoga. Regular meditation since 1 year is a habit now after so much of initial quits…..
    I appreciate you wrote what we all experience on daily basis.
